So proud of my oldest dog, Isabella. She actually went on her morning constitutional today with us, sans leash. She did awesome! Walked the entire block without veering off or getting distracted. If you know anything about Shiba Inu’s, you know that’s a pretty impressive feat, especially without having gone to obedience school.

It was so long before my parents allowed me to walk without a leash. Of course, I grew up in Brooklyn, so there were safety issues involved…
I suspect your deep thoughts often led to unsanctioned rambles, causing the need for a lead as much as the neighborhood.
