What Did You Say You Wanted For Christmas?

As many of you know…I have a playful side. She demands to come out now and again… If you don’t believe me, you haven’t checked out my posts in the last couple of days.

Some of you know that I also had a retail background before I dedicated myself to writing…so in honor of that, my Christmas song is a bit of tongue in cheek humor aimed at commercialism and how off course we’ve gotten.  I dare you not to crack up!

I’d like to hear from you…what part made you laugh most? For me, it was Johnny Carson’s expressions.  I miss that man. (Did that just age me?)

I really needed a good laugh today, thank you for that. And yes Carson’s look is priceless. I do miss him and Ed they had such a great schtick.
And her voice, well can’t help but love it 😉

That is so twisted, and I absolutely love it! I miss Johnny, too. Watched him every night with my dad when I was a girl. Just the monologue. Came on at 9:30 where I lived because the only stations were across the time zone change. Thanks for the memories. . . . Oh, wait. That’s Carol Burnett. 🙂

      LOL, Piper…very clever. 🙂

I think the fact that it’s so twisted is precisely why I find it funny. I only caught Johnny every once in a while when I was younger, too…usually had to sneak it past mom. She had a thing about bedtime. 🙂

LOL! Glad you loved it! I think I heard it for the first time on my way in to work back in Chicago. One of the Christmas stations was playing it. They said you could get it on Dr Demento’s Christmas Album. (I bought it)

I like the way she screams in realistic pain when you break her leg, and the evil smile on Mona’s face in conjunction; also the suffocating thing cracked me up. (obviously I am disturbed…) very funny!! And Carson’s expressions ran the gamut!
