I’ve been working my butt off at the day job lately, and can’t wait for the day off with hubby tomorrow. Tonight, we will probably carry on our yearly tradition of snacking on appetizers,  watching tv, and playing games. How will you be ringing in the New Year?

This Sunday I’ll be headed back up to Syracuse,  and my Cowboys will be playing their first play off game. Wish me luck! Do you still have a team in this play off race? If not, who is your early prediction to win the Superbowl?

Don’t forget, today is the last day to enter to win FREE books through the Christmas Wonder Hop. Click the link at the side of my blog to view all the participants!

Merry Christmas, Happy Anniversary

image

I’d like to wish each and every person who stops by my blog a very happy holiday…

Also, today is an important anniversary to me. My first book, Three For All, is celebrating an anniversary. I finally got the courage to launch it through Kindle one year ago today! In honor of the occasion, I’m giving it to y’all free to say thanks for making this trip through life a fun, exciting one.

Celebrating Originality this Holiday Season

I’m such an Ella Fitzgerald fan that I couldn’t let this holiday go without sharing her magnificent, fun self.

Rudolph’s story has always had a soft spot in my heart because he was different, picked on, and laughed at….but his beautiful originality was what wound up saving Christmas. Just goes to show that being unique is a gift, not a curse. We need to better learn to embrace it.

Skate Away this Holiday

I think the first time I heard The River was when Robert Downey, Jr. sang it on Ally McBeal. There was a depth of emotion and passion within the heartbreak that moved me. The song was originally written and performed by Joni Mitchell, she has always been a mistress of powerful lyrics.

I recently found this recording of the song performed by Sam Palladino from the tv show Nashville and was moved once more by his purity in vocals…and clarity. They complimented the lyrics in the most awesome way. Let me know what you think!

Feeling Erotic and Wearing No Pants

Just because I’m in Syracuse, New York this week doesn’t mean I get to sit around and slack. Especially when I have all you awesome, supportive friends to entertain. Reality is, usually, away from home equals busier, and with less tools to get the job done.
This week, I wanted to share with you guys the partnership a few fellow writing friends and I have collaborated on to create our street team.

Yes, that’s right. I’ve joined the lovely Lori Whitman, the brilliant Becca Boucher, and the always awesome Amelia James. Together we’ve formed our street team called the Writing Without Pants Street Team! We will have opportunities to win prizes, to get to sneak a peek at some of our works early, and to have a lot of fun sharing our passion for books and helping fun, fabulous authors get promoted. To be a part of the fun, all you have to do is click the link and join our group!
But that’s not all I’ve been up to lately. I had the best time ever recently, hanging out on Intimate Chats With the Love Birds, Dr. Chuck and Jo-Ann Bird’s radio show. They were funny, interesting, and so supportive as we talked about erotica and sexual relationships!
For those of you who may have missed in the fun, here’s your chance to check it out, along with their latest recommendation on one of the new Cal Exotics toys!
